Designer Kevan Hall went grand for his Spring 2010 runway show, held on the backlot of Universal Studios.
Sponsored by the Rusnak Auto Group and Universal Studios, the event allowed guests to get an up-close look at Rusnak’s latest luxury cars displayed amid several period sets on the Universal lot. But come show time, the guests—including Miss California, Tami Farrell (easy to spot in her tiara and sash)—quickly filled the seats lining the runway.
The imposing set provided a perfect backdrop for his collection of red-carpet gowns—and several chic day dresses—that seemed to harken back to Hollywood’s most glamorous age. The collection garnered Hall a well-deserved standing ovation from the crowd.
Here’s a sample of the scene. For the full runway slideshow, gohere.
