Dropped by the Kingpins opening party tonight at the Cooper Design Space and caught up with our former colleague Erin Barajas, the show director of the boutique denim trade show. At check in, we caught a glimpse of Erin and an Erin-emblazzoned pair of jeans–made with a laser finishing machine made by LST Laser, one of the exhibitors at the trade show.
The show continues tomorrow on the Cooper building’s top floor. The party was held in the building’s lobby, where organizers were serving up short-rib sliders, falafel sandwiches and other snacks. Out front, guests were sampling the lobster and crab rolls from theLobsta Truck and topping it all off with ice cream from the Coolhaus truck.
