Action-sports eyewear maker Spy launched a new collection with a patent-pending technology to boost happiness.
According to the company, Happy Lens glasses let in more long-wave blue light rays, which help the brain produce serotonin and “balance in the body’s circadian rhythm.” The Carlsbad, Calif.–based company says wearing the glasses will elevate mood and alertness, while blocking harmful “bad” light like short-range blue light and UV light. Plus, the lenses offer the wearer crisp high-contrast color and there are 30 Happy Lens styles to choose from.
There’s even a pretty happy little animated video explaining the technology behind the glasses.
