Los Angeles–based e-tailer Revolve has launched a new collab involving five designers, five fashion bloggers and a bomber jacket.
The mission: team up and redesign the classic outerwear style.
Anine Bing, LnA, Current/Elliot, Velvet and Lovers + Friends worked with bloggers Julie Sarinana (Sincerely Jules), Courtney Trop (Always Judging), Chiara Ferragni (The Blonde Salad) and Danielle Bernstein (We Wore What) and Alexandra Spencer (4th and Bleeker) to create the 5×5 Bomber Collection. The results range from “retro 70s to modern minimalist.”
Working together, the designers and bloggers created looks which reflect each brand’s aesthetic and the blogger’s.
For example, Bernstein drew influence from a recent trip to Stockholm to help Velvet designers Jenny Graham and Toni Spencer create a jacket that “[adds Bernstein’s] cool East Coast style to the laid-back LA vibe of Velvet.”
