Are you watching “The Fabulist” on E? The show, featuring fashionplate/reality TV star Kristin Cavallari and “Fashion Star” designer Orly Shani discussing the current fashion “news,” debuted today.
Interesting idea. Curious name. The show’s catch phrase is “If it’s in, it’s on The Fabulist.” Get it? It’s a list of fabulous things. A fabulous list, if you will.
But the OED has a different meaning for the word. At best, it means “storyteller,” at worst “liar.” Did no one involved with the show have a dictionary? Does anyone care?
