Guess’ new concept

Los Angeles–based Guess? Inc. is opening a new 1,600-square-foot flagship store in Moscow’s Europeisky Mall. A 590,000-square-foot shopping center with more than 500 stores.

The Europeisky Mall Guess shop will follow the company’s format for its global denim concept store with a clean, contemporary space lit with “high-tech” lights and flexible modular panels to create an “ever-changing space.”

The new Guess store is part of a new joint venture struck earlier this year with a local Russian partner, the company said. Plans call for the opening of 10 more Guess stores in Russia this year, to join the 30 already open. Over the next three years, the company plans to open an additional 40 Guess stores in Russia.

The company is also planning to open a Moscow showroom, which will serve as a sales office and provide support to its licensing and wholesale partners.
